This book also outlines special exercises for separation of the midline abdominal muscles.
ACTIVE BIRTH, The New Approach to Giving Birth Naturally by Janet Balaskas, revised 1992, is an excellent guide to exercise and movement during pregnancy, with an easy to follow program. It helps women develop all their bodily resources for labour and birth.
POSITIVE PREGNANCY FITNESS, by Sylvia Klein Olkin, is a practical guide that shows women how to get the most out of their pregnancy and birth through a total yoga and relaxation program for mental, physical and spiritual preparation.
